Connor Syme
Biography
Connor was introduced to golf by his father, who was the Head Professional at Dumfries and County Golf Club.
Around the age of 11 he Started competing in club competitions, he progressed quickly and entered his first National event aged 13.
Steady progress saw him improve and was selected to represent Scotland boys at under 16 level.
His career has been on a continuing upward slide, leading to full National caps at Boys and Men's level, then a Cap for the GB&I men's team in 2016.

Australian Amateur Champion
Medalist at the British Amateur Championship
European Team Champion with Scotland's Men's Team
Represented Scotland in the Eisenhower trophy
Represented GB&I helping them retain the St Andrews Trophy
Competed in the US Amateur Championship which is restricted to top 50 WAGR plus invites
19th In WAGR (world amateur golf ranking)
2015
European Amateur Team Champion with Scotland Men's Team
Represented Scotland in Men's Home Internationals at Royal Portrush
Led the SGU Mens Order of Merit virtually all season, finished 2nd having played only 8/12 events.
Fife Order of Merit Champion
Lost in a Play Off at Craigmillar Park Open and 2nd at Battle Trophy at Crail early season
Played for 8 weeks on the South African Amateur circuit from Jan-March with some notable successes
